The skills base at Haigh is considerable with many employees having been with Haigh all their working lives. An apprenticeship scheme has been running for many years with two or three young people per year given the chance to learn a new skill within the work environment.

Hands on experience of the product range is an important element of training so that customer queries can be answered by knowledgable staff.

To keep up to date with current practice and legislation a training programme is in place for each employee so that competent and knowledgeable staff are available to deal with cutomer queries.

 

 

 
A friendly open door policy is encouraged through out the Company so that people can talk to their Line Managers and concerns can also be fed back to
Senior Management. This culture is developed and focussed on customer requirements so there is positive feed back on how to improve equipment and benefit both customers and staff.

To the outside world a helpful and friendly Haigh voice on the end of the phone is an important element of making customer dealings with Haigh an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
