Sales co-ordinator (full time)

Due to an internal promotion, we're urgently seeking a sales co-ordinator to join our busy sales and service department in our healthcare division.  This role acts as first point of contact for incoming sales enquiries from customers.  It will also involve seeking out new sales opportunities, processing orders, preparing quotations and despatching orders.

The ideal candidate for this customer facing role will be computer literate (Microsoft Office suite, CRM database and website sales experience), enthusiastic, self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills.  Previous sales or marketing office experience is essential.  Career advancement opportunities within the business available to the right candidate.

Warehouse operatives (x2)

These are hands on roles involved in the re-organisation of our store layout. Duties will also include:

Candidates will ideally be capable of manual handling tasks, be computer literature, enthusiastic and self motivated with the ability to achieve targets against set objectives.  A counterbalance forklift qualification is essential.

Maintenance engineer

We urgently require an in-house maintenance engineer to support our electrical supervisor in a wide range of installation, maintenance and associated tasks.  This new role will also be instrumental in organising and administering various testing and inspection activities.

The successful candidate will have a full electrical installation background, including 17th Edition, with good communication, IT and organisational skills to support their electrical background and experience.

Skilled welder/fabricator (short term contract - 6 months)

Due to an increased workload in our wastewater division, we are seeking a skilled welder/fabricator for TIG welding in stainless steel.  Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Engineering apprentices - Earn As You Learn

We are proud to have developed a number of people from the early years of their apprenticeship through to manager status.  As an innovative, technologically advanced local company with a worldwide market for its products, we're a perfect choice if you want to pursue a dream of a career in engineering

We welcome up to three apprentices each year in machining, fitting or fabrication/welding and are particularly interested in supporting the career aspirations of women into engineering and welcome female applicants.

Candidates should be enthusiastic and well-motivated individuals with a specific interest in engineering processes.  You will be expected to achieve or already hold reasonable GCSE grades in five subjects, including maths and English at Grade C or above.

Successful applicants will be offered an advanced apprenticeship lasting up to four years, starting with a year off-the-job training at Herefordshire & Worcestershire Group Training Association in Holmer Road, Hereford to learn the basics of engineering.  Subsequent training will include college day release (for City & Guilds or BTEC National Diploma qualifications) and a NVQ Level 3.
